My Bio

I guess this is where I write something very profound about who I am to help you understand me better.  Let’s see, I am a mom to a 5 year old daughter adopted from Guatemala.  I am divorced.  I never considered myself a writer, more of a talker and was the winner of the 710 talk radio idol contest about 7 years ago. I credit that win to being picked to do the morning announcements at my elementary school, Bonjour Elementary in Lenexa, KS when I was in sixth grade.  Thank you for believing in me and allowing me to announce what was for lunch in the cafeteria every day!   My dream has always been to have my own radio talk show, but really anything that allows me to share my opinion in any outlet if people paid me will work.

I am inspired by Andy Borowitz on twitter.  He makes me laugh every single day.  I love stand up comedy.  Kathleen Madigan is my favorite stand up.

Other interesting facts: I hate cilantro, goat cheese and iced tea.  I also hate warm fruit.  I don’t eat beef or pork and no it isn’t for religious reasons.  I love to play computer games.  I love trivia and I’m convinced if I removed the useless facts in my head I could probably have enough space to learn something useful and maybe cure cancer or find a cure for AIDS.  I don’t know what it would be, but I am sure it would be awesome.  Why I need to know the name of the Brady Bunch cat is beyond me.

If you haven’t figured this out, I’m entertaining myself writing this.  That’s another thing. I love to entertain myself.  I usually do that on Twitter.  I find politics really funny.  I think we all take ourselves too seriously.

Most of all, thank you so much for reading this blog.  I am constantly amazed that anyone reads this blog.  If you like what you read, please pass it along to others.

You look like a typical liberal loon, waiting for free birthcontrol. Typical Fluke type skank, nothing more.

Aimee, I thought you were terrific on Darla Jaye yesterday. I look forward to following your blog.

Aimee, I would like to know why you are defending everything President Obama does even if they are not right or to the best interest of the people. Why aren’t you a fair person when it comes to political issues? That much fanaticism discredits you in general.
